Lip-Synching performances – what’s the big deal?

: Aaliyah Ok, when we go to a concert, we want to see and heard exactly what our idols can do; we want to feel the magic. But does lip-synching really prevent us from enjoying the magic?
I don’t think so. Yes, it would be great to hear the songs come straight from the singers mouth, but to do that, they would not be able to dance around, and give us the visual stimuli that is expected with any live production.
A band singing in your local pub has to be able to sing live, people are close enough to get a good look and hear what they can do. But for the big shows, each pulling in thousands of fans – there’s just not the room, and so the visual stuff has to be good.
If lip-synching lets them put on a real show, so be it.
